The project aims to promote active participation, inclusion, and personal development of young people through a youth exchange between Italy and Finland, two culturally and socially diverse areas but complementary to some other extends. The main objective is to activate non-formal learning processes based on interculturality, creativity, and emotional expression, fostering a participatory and empowering approach. From the perspective of youth work practice, the project seeks to: -Enhance key competences of participants such as intercultural communication, critical thinking, active citizenship, and teamwork through structured activities and daily reflection moments. -Support young people in their personal and social empowerment journey by providing concrete tools to become protagonists of their own growth and agents of change in their communities. - Foster the creation of collaborative networks between youth organizations and local communities in Italy and Finland, stimulating exchanges of good practices and new synergies at local, regional, and international levels. -Promote European values such as mobility, inclusion, environmental sustainability, and democratic participation, strengthening young people’s awareness of their European identity and Erasmus+ opportunities. -Create a safe and inclusive environment where all young people, including those facing cultural or geographical challenges, feel welcomed and supported. The project aims to be a concrete and lasting opportunity for growth for the young people involved, strengthening their role as active citizens and contributing to the development of more inclusive, creative, and sustainable communities.
