The project Discover Yourself aims to help young people aged 16–25 from France, Turkey, Spain and Germany explore and recognise their own talents, strengths and competences. In many cases, young people are not aware of their potential or lack the tools to identify it. By using creative non-formal education methods such as storytelling, role play, simulations, artistic workshops and peer reflection, the project will support participants in making their skills more visible and building self-confidence. The main objectives are to increase self-awareness, to provide opportunities for young people to develop key competences linked to employability and active citizenship, and to create an intercultural environment where participants learn from each other. Youth workers and group leaders will guide participants in linking their daily learning to the Youthpass key competences, ensuring that the experience has a long-term value beyond the project. In the field of youth work, the project contributes by offering practical methods that can be transferred to other contexts. It strengthens the role of youth exchanges as a safe space for talent discovery and personal growth, while also promoting inclusion, creativity and intercultural understanding.
