Our project aims to offer young female athletes, some of whom face socio-economic, linguistic, or disability-related barriers, an intercultural experience that will enable them to develop their personal, social, and professional skills. Through an exchange project, we seek to: Promote inclusion and diversity in sport by encouraging encounters between able-bodied and para-athletes from different backgrounds. Strengthen the confidence, autonomy, and employability of participants, in particular by combating gender stereotypes that hinder the professionalization of women in sport. Develop key youth skills (interculturality, communication, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking) by incorporating participatory activities (workshops, debates, round tables, inclusion race). Promote active citizenship and the exchange of good practices between European countries, so that young people can be agents of change in their sporting and social environments. In practice, this youth work project uses sport as a non-formal education tool to support young women in their journey, give them a voice, and prepare them to become ambassadors for equality and inclusion at the local and European levels.
