With our project, we want to show young people that sport is not only about competition and recreation, but also an opportunity for creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We believe that sport can be linked with the development of entrepreneurial skills and used as a tool for young people to gain experience, self-confidence, and ideas for their future. We want to encourage them to start thinking entrepreneurially, explore different opportunities, and see how they can connect their passion for sport with work they enjoy and that can also support them in the long term. - We want to bring entrepreneurship closer to young people in a practical and fun way – through sports events, start-up ideas, and tournament organization. - We aim to create an environment where young people can connect sport with creativity and innovation and try out how to turn a hobby into a project or business idea. - We will also emphasize digital skills, such as content creation for social media, as we believe these are essential competences for young people today. - We want to encourage teamwork and responsibility in organizing different activities, as this allows young people to gain experience they can use later in life. - We are convinced that the project can give young people a voice and motivate them to become more active in their local communities, using sport as a space for positive social impact and the development of sustainable opportunities. - We will add an intercultural dimension, as the project will bring together young people from several European countries, enabling them to better understand diversity and learn from each other, but also to learn about the differences in entrepreneurship that may exist in different countries. - We will include moments of reflection and experience sharing, so that young people can identify their strengths and see how to make the most of them. - We will also encourage young people to volunteer at local sporting events, so that they can develop a sense of civic responsibility and discover the role of volunteering in community life. In this project we plan to bring a new perspective to the right to sport, in addition to sport, health, and employability. Thanks to the association’s strong collaborations with local institutions (municipalities, universities, youth centers), participants will not only engage in sports activities but also gain awareness of accessibility to sport as a right, equal opportunities, and social cohesion. The inclusive methods developed in Cosmos’ previous youth projects (buddy system, multilingual communication support, cultural mediation, etc.) will also be applied in this project, ensuring the active participation of disadvantaged young people. In addition, Cosmos Youth’s active networks in İzmir will enable young people to meet decision-makers through sport and to observe firsthand how sport intersects with employability and entrepreneurial skills. In this way, young people will both discover the personal development and social contribution dimensions of sport and have the opportunity to transform these experiences into future work and project ideas.
