Objectives

The project aims to address and raise awareness about urban dynamics with a view to sustainable development and the fight against discrimination. It also aims to democratize and promote digital skills in video production and editing. The project will develop creativity and digital skills in filmmaking for European youth workers and young people. It will help develop knowledge on spatial discrimination and environmental issues within the city and contribute to sustainability and inclusiveness in European cities. To do this, the training will bring together a group of youth workers and NGO leaders to engage in discussion with professionals, filmmakers and activists on sustainable and inclusive European cities, produce short films and organize short workshops footage on this subject. During this workshop, participants will be guided and assisted in the production of short films, using non-formal education methods. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and develop knowledge on the themes of urbanization, discrimination in public spaces and environmental challenges in the city through non-formal education. They will carry out city tours with specialists, focusing on public spaces in the light of sustainability and inclusiveness, do practical city exercises on sustainability and inclusiveness and attend screenings and discussions on some documentaries related to the theme of sustainability and inclusion within the city. It was chosen to make the films in the city of Tbilisi due to the network in the Georgian film industry of the organizations TO.U.T.A, Phêno and Youth Association Droni and the logistical simplicity of organizing a project of this scale in Tbilisi (lower costs in particular ).
