Objectives

As professor of psychology Csikszentmihalyi says, creativity does not happen inside people’s heads but in the interaction between a person’s thoughts and a sociocultural context. As his term “flow” defines, when a person is completely absorbed in an activity at hand and the situation, then the person is at full concentration, thus, being the happiest one. And this is a combination of emotions, skills and knowledge, which in its turn helps to find intrinsic motivation. This is identified as a powerful trait to optimize and enhance positive experience, feelings, and overall well-being as a result of challenging experiences. Thus, the general idea of this project is propose creative thinking methods for the youth workers, facilitators, educators, group trainers, try out exercises in non-formal education for boosting creativity, experiment various methods for creative thinking, creating writing and drawing, as well as problem solving excercises to have more effective and inclusive youth work, organise youth events with creativity that are of interest to young people and increase meaningful youth participation and youth inclusion.
