Objectives

In-Sense of Humanity: Inclusive Facilitation & Conflict Resolution Skills invites social educators and young people to engage in intensive learning of facilitation techniques and conflict resolution practices. Together, they will develop tools for empowerment, cooperation, and leadership, thereby strengthening their ability to create positive change both individually and within their communities. The training will take place over 11 days, with 30 participants and 5 European partners. It is led by the Viv'Aérium association with two of our previous partners and new ones in order to expand and develop a strong European network of youth workers to spread skills and know-how around relevant sustainable practices: Transmitting facilitation tools: Icebreaker, active listening frameworks, structured group processes, reflection models, etc. Learning to design and lead inclusive group processes, adapting to different learning styles, contexts, and group dynamics. Develop active listening and non-directive communication techniques to better support young people's voices. Acquire tools to structure workshops, discussions, and creative sessions in a way that promotes participation, co-creation, and psychological safety. Discover how to make room for discomfort, complexity, and difference without taking control or imposing direction. Practice reading group energy, identifying unspoken needs and tensions, and adapting in real time. This project highlights conflict resolution methods, group agreements, restorative circles, and a personal toolkit for understanding the dynamics of interpersonal and group conflicts, particularly in diverse contexts. But also to: Learn to distinguish between healthy conflicts (which promote growth) and harmful dynamics (exclusion). Acquire mediation and de-escalation techniques. Reflect on their own triggers, power dynamics, and biases in order to act with clarity and neutrality in tense situations. Exploring restorative practices, collective responsibility, and how to rebuild trust after a conflict. The goal of this project is that by combining facilitation and conflict resolution, social educators will be able to: Strengthen their leadership while remaining horizontal and inclusive. Become more resilient and adaptable in complex social environments. Empower young people not only to participate, but also to take ownership of group processes. Qualified facilitators will offer workshops on authentic relationships, understanding the nervous system and its self-regulation, cooperative postures, nonviolent communication (NVC), processes and inner work, playfighting, the ZEGG forum, etc. We have built our project around the realities of each of our partners and in line with the European Training Strategy (ETS) in the field of youth. These lessons are based on: - Knowledge and skills: Small group workshops will encourage everyone to participate. Collective reflection on educational facilitation tools such as role-playing, the acquisition of digital tools, and the use of the SALTO Toolbox platform. We will invite them to register on the Council of Europe Portfolio and we will issue the YOUTHPASS. They will acquire skills to lead engaging non-formal education activities, such as workshops on playfighting, collaborative cooking, etc. - Attitude and behavior: An inner and collective journey to learn how to cooperate and take responsibility as leaders and youth workers through workshops on authentic relationships, NVC, breathwork, collaborative posture, and working on the autonomic nervous system to get to know oneself better. They will perfect conflict resolution techniques, feedback culture, and emotional intelligence to support youth development. Our partners: ZEGG (Germany), RELEARN Suderbyn (Sweden), Building Bridges (Spain), Zeleno DOBA (Serbia), and Turve Nirvane (Italy). For this second phase, two partnerships have been renewed and others have joined the adventure. Building Bridges, with its 20 years of experience in training and including marginalized populations, will be a pillar for this new edition. We want to work towards a more inclusive society: reaching out to marginalized populations, understanding them, responding to their needs, adjusting tools, giving them the opportunity to participate in the digital transition, and providing them with access to media education.
