The I-Care project has two objectives: firstly, to reaffirm the importance of mental health among young people, addressing it from the perspective of international mobility and culture shock. This issue is underestimated and not sufficiently addressed: the aim is therefore to create and open up spaces for discussion and exchange (via discussion groups), allowing the young people concerned to express themselves freely and to be made aware of mental health issues (via the intercultural mental health fresco). Secondly, the project will involve young people in the creation of concrete tools to address these same issues. This will involve co-creating a “Guide to Intercultural Mental Health”, based on the project's findings, which will serve as a resource for people working with international young people to help them meet their needs, find the right resources, and understand the cultural issues surrounding mental health.
