The DIVA project aims to empower young girls from underprivileged neighborhoods in Perpignan by providing them with the tools to create and manage a collaborative media platform focused on gender equality and female empowerment. Objectives include developing their digital, journalistic, and communication skills, fostering creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and strengthening civic engagement. Through intercultural exchanges with peers in Spain and Italy, mentorship, and community events, the project seeks to build confidence, promote leadership, and raise awareness among a wider youth audience about gender equality, participation, and social inclusion. Additionally, the project will facilitate meetings with female political leaders and influential figures from local governments in France, Spain, and Italy, providing participants with opportunities to engage in discussions on gender equality and civic participation.
