Objectives

With this project, we aim to empower young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, to acquire relevant knowledge, skills, and critical awareness of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on society, the labor market, and the mental health of young people. Through carefully selected non-formal learning methods, our goal is to make AI more accessible and understandable to young people, develop their digital and creative competencies, and encourage them to take an active role in shaping their future within a technology-driven world. Additionally, this project will strengthen the capacities of our youth organizations, promoting innovative methods of working with digital tools. In the long run, young participants will become ambassadors of responsible technology use in their communities, encouraging their peers to think critically about AI and its societal impact, maximizing its benefits while successfully avoiding its negative aspects. The objectives of our project are: 1. To develop young people's digital and technological competencies through hands-on AI experience - By engaging in interactive workshops and peer learning activities, participants will enhance their digital literacy, including critical recognition of fake news and understanding of social media algorithms. These skills will increase their ability to use technology for personal and professional development and adapt to the rapidly evolving digital landscape. 2. To empower young people to think critically about AI and the ethics of technology - The project will encourage discussions on ethical dilemmas related to AI, such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and digital security. By actively participating in debates and problem-solving activities, young people will be empowered to engage in discussions about technology, rather than remaining passive users. 3. To connect AI with mental health and promote responsible technology use - Through awareness-raising activities, participants will explore the impact of AI, particularly social media and digital addiction, on their well-being. They will develop balanced technology habits through digital detox workshops, creative expression activities (painting, writing), and mindfulness techniques. 4. To develop creative and entrepreneurial skills through AI projects - Young people will be encouraged to use AI for content creation (e.g., chatbots, AI-generated art). They will also work on developing AI-driven solutions for challenges in their local communities.Since all participants will actively lead activities, they will gain hands-on experience in project management and teamwork, enhancing their collaborative and leadership skills while working with peers from different countries. 5. To strengthen intercultural learning and inclusivity in youth work We aim to connect young people from different rural areas of two countries, enabling them to learn together and from each other about AI and its influence on youth. Before, during, and after mobility, participants will receive support from experienced facilitators, ensuring an inclusive learning environment. As a result, participants will be empowered to share their newly gained knowledge within their local communities and actively participate in future Erasmus+ initiatives. Beyond the outlined project objectives, we strongly believe that this initiative will enable young people to acquire concrete digital skills, making them more confident in using technology, increase their overall self-confidence, both personally and professionally, develop their awareness of responsible AI use, fostering a critical mindset toward technology, equip them with practical tools and knowledge that can be applied to their personal growth and social impact initiatives and e Encourage participants to use AI for positive change in their communities and beyond. Through practical workshops, teamwork, and hands-on AI projects, participants will learn how to utilize artificial intelligence for personal growth, social impact, and professional development. By the end of the project, they will be better prepared to navigate the digital world, advocate for ethical AI use, and contribute actively to shaping the future of technology and society.
