The general objective of the project is to promote democratic participation of young people by providing them with the opportunity to advocate for lowering the minimum age for political participation to 16, contributing to a more inclusive electoral process in the long term. Specific objectives are: 1) to increase the capacities of young people for political participation and empower them to advocate for lowering the voting age, 2) to enable interaction between young people advocating for lowering the minimum age for political participation and decision-makers, and 3) to raise awareness of young people about the importance of voting rights and lowering the age limit for political participation. The above objectives will be achieved through meetings and workshops with young people, their involvement in advocacy activities towards decision-makers, and the implementation of a campaign to raise awareness among young people and the general population.
