We are planning to organize our VEKTOR program for the 11th time in 2026. The event preparation will include a preliminary meeting, followed by the youth exchange itself. The participants will primarily be young people aged 16–25, all of whom are considered to have fewer opportunities due to economic or geographical disadvantages and cultural differences. This allows us to reach those most in need, such as young people at a career crossroads or facing a career change. The youth exchange is designed to be fully aligned with the needs of both the participants and the organizing partners. Our most important motivations for this activity are to: - Support the successful career building and self-knowledge of this age group. - Help our participants collectively identify the right goals and establish a plan to achieve them. - Foster conscious thinking in young people so they can proactively plan their lives, goals, and careers. - Encourage them to seek employment and build their careers based on knowledge of themselves and their skills. - Assist participants in acquiring long-term thinking skills. Our project, therefore, aims to provide a solution to the self-knowledge and career orientation issues associated with youth unemployment through a complex development program that extends beyond the five days of the youth exchange. The main event will be preceded by preparatory sessions and activities, and will be followed by several months of post-project follow-up. Furthermore, we will continue to monitor and support our participants even after the project formally concludes, to ensure the effective use and deepening of the knowledge and competencies they acquire.
