Project Goals and Objectives from the Perspective of Youth Work By implementing this project, we aim to empower young people to become active agents of change in addressing environmental challenges and protecting endangered species. The project seeks to raise awareness, build skills, and foster values that promote environmental sustainability, responsible citizenship, and social engagement. From a youth work perspective, our goals focus on both personal development and community impact. Objectives of the Project: Raise Environmental Awareness: Enable young participants to understand the importance of biodiversity, the threats posed by human activities, and the critical role of endangered animals in maintaining ecological balance. Promote Responsible Action: Encourage participants to adopt sustainable behaviors and to participate actively in initiatives aimed at protecting wildlife and natural habitats. Develop Practical and Creative Skills: Engage youth in hands-on activities, experiential learning, and collaborative problem-solving exercises to cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills applicable to environmental protection. Foster Intercultural Learning and Cooperation: Facilitate international collaboration among participants, allowing them to exchange perspectives, share best practices, and develop joint initiatives that reflect the principles of global citizenship. Encourage Voluntary and Civic Engagement: Inspire young people to participate in civil society activities and voluntary initiatives that contribute to environmental conservation and community well-being. Instill Respect for All Living Beings: Emphasize the ethical principle that every living being has a right to life, fostering empathy, tolerance, and responsibility toward nature. Support Policy Awareness and Advocacy: Introduce youth to the concept of environmentally responsible urbanization and policymaking, encouraging them to advocate for sustainable practices in their communities. Through these objectives, the project aims not only to increase environmental consciousness among participants but also to strengthen their capacities as socially responsible, active, and empowered young people. By integrating experiential learning, intercultural dialogue, and collaborative initiatives, the project ensures that participants develop both the knowledge and the motivation to take meaningful action for the protection of endangered animals and the environment.
