The aim of the project is to develop the competencies of professional youth workers, coaches, teachers, and facilitators who work with young people on a daily basis in community, school, or training settings. We aim to present sport not only as physical activity, but also as a conscious, value-transmitting tool to promote inclusion. During the project, participants will get to know the methodology of education through sport and will become capable of designing and facilitating games that promote inclusion, reduce discrimination, and build a sense of community. The non-formal learning approach allows them to support young people not only as athletes but also as social beings. This is especially important in environments where young people are often excluded because of their ethnic background, gender identity, or social status. The project responds to the need for cross-sectoral cooperation, which has also been highlighted within the Erasmus+ programme: youth work, education, and sport share the common goal of creating more inclusive and sensitive communities. Through the training, participants will not only learn new methods but also become able to apply them in the long term in their own work thus contributing to building a more socially sensitive and inclusive Europe.
