The Active Youth V project aims to enhance media literacy among secondary school students, with a special focus on the ethical, social, and personal challenges posed by artificial intelligence (AI). The program builds on previous experiences and feedback from young people, which clearly highlight the need for guidance in navigating the intertwined world of AI and media. The project specifically targets dormitories in smaller towns, where similar programs are rarely available, thus creating opportunities for the inclusion of disadvantaged youth. Through interactive, non-formal learning methods (workshops, debates, digital tools), the program supports the development of critical thinking, ethical awareness, and communication skills. Participants will learn to identify AI-generated content, understand the processes behind it, and respond as responsible, conscious citizens, thereby strengthening their digital competences in the long run.
