The project „Make it Matter” aims to make young people’s voices heard and their participation visible in local public life. The project supports them in acquiring – through real-life situations – the skills equally needed for democratic engagement and for the world of work: communication, cooperation, digital literacy, project management and autonomy. Over a 16-month process, young people take part in simulations, community campaigns and dialogues with decision-makers, while strengthening their self-confidence and sense of responsibility. The project’s tangible outcomes – the Youth Recommendation, the methodological toolkit and the short film – ensure that young people’s proposals, knowledge and experiences continue to shape the local community, contributing to a more open, digital and youth-friendly society.
