The EURO GREEN project was born from a co-creation process involving young leaders and volunteers from the partner organisations, who carried out needs analyses in their rural areas (surveys, community events, data collection). From this phase, common needs emerged: 1. Reconnection of young people with nature and local resources, 2. Promotion of a culture of sustainable food, 3. Development of green entrepreneurial skills, 4. Valorisation of intercultural dialogue through traditions, recipes, and artisanal practices. The main objectives of the project are: - To promote a sustainable lifestyle through practical activities (foraging, cooking, self-production, handicrafts); - To develop transversal competences and green skills (creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, resource management, intercultural collaboration); - To strengthen the link between young people and rural communities, fostering inclusion and active citizenship; - To create shared educational tools (such as the final Toolbox) to disseminate replicable practices and encourage the creation of new local and European initiatives. In summary EURO GREEN aims to make young people protagonists of the ecological and cultural regeneration of their territories, providing competences, knowledge and attitudes that will last beyond the project and strengthen both participants and the communities involved.
