With this project, we want to create a safe and stimulating space where young people can explore the theme of culture in all its facets, using theatre and improvisation as the main tool. The goal is not only to transmit theoretical knowledge but to allow the 30 participants and their group leaders to experience culture as a shared, personal, and creative journey. Through activities of embodiment, storytelling, stage improvisation, and collective reflection, young people will be encouraged to reinterpret elements of their own traditions and share them with others, transforming them into performances that convey emotional and identity resonance rather than historical accuracy. From a youth work perspective, this approach allows for the development of key competences such as intercultural communication, teamwork, and emotional management. The choice to prioritize body language and theatre, complemented by moments of mindfulness and reflection, makes it possible to overcome language barriers and provide an inclusive expressive channel, suitable even for those who struggle with English or with traditional forms of learning. In this way, the experience becomes particularly meaningful for young people with fewer opportunities, who will find spaces for authentic expression and active participation. The main objectives, therefore, are to strengthen participants’ cultural and expressive awareness, to promote inclusion and diversity as concrete values, to foster youth participation through an active role in all phases of the project, and to create an educational context based on the principles of non-formal education. Added to this is the value of the natural mountain setting, which enhances focus, introspection, and community spirit, making the experience even more transformative.
