Inclusion of marginalised young peopleCreativity, arts and cultureEntrepreneurial learning - entrepreneurship education

Objectives

The project aims to promote youth empowerment, social inclusion, and personal and professional development, with particular focus on NEETs and young people facing unemployment or marginalization. Through creativity and handmade arts, participants will be encouraged to transform personal passions into sustainable entrepreneurial pathways, while also strengthening self-esteem, transversal skills, and their connection with the local community. The main objectives, from the perspective of youth work practice, are: 1) Transforming passion into professional opportunities Encouraging young people to see crafts and manual work as real opportunities for self-employment and entrepreneurship. Creative workshops – such as clay work and other crafts – will provide practical skills and guide participants in designing artisanal activities with market potential. 2) Promoting social inclusion and intercultural exchange Creating safe and participatory spaces where young people from different backgrounds can share experiences, traditions, and cultural values. Intercultural activities will foster mutual understanding, respect for diversity, and European awareness – key elements of youth work. 3) Developing transversal and entrepreneurial skills Using participatory methodologies (peer learning, learning by doing), young people will acquire problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and leadership skills. These competences are essential for launching entrepreneurial initiatives and increasing employability in today’s challenging labor market. 4) Strengthening self-esteem and personal empowerment Producing handmade crafts and creative outputs will allow young people to experience a sense of concreteness and achievement. This will boost their confidence, motivation, and ability to take an active role in their communities, counteracting isolation and unemployment. 5) Promoting sustainability and territorial connection Enhancing local resources and sustainable craft practices, with an emphasis on recycling and natural materials. In this way, participants will develop greater environmental awareness and propose productive models that respect both the environment and local traditions. 6) Building networks of support and collaboration Establishing a stable network among participants and partners that will continue beyond the duration of the project. This network will act as a space for mutual support and dissemination of best practices, with particular impact in disadvantaged or at-risk communities. 7) Supporting long-term entrepreneurship and employability Providing concrete tools for young people to start small entrepreneurial activities, develop creative projects, or strengthen their career pathways. The project will promote self-entrepreneurship as a sustainable alternative to dependent work, encouraging participants to turn creative ideas into tangible projects. Conclusion In summary, the project aims to foster the holistic development of young people by combining creativity, inclusion, and entrepreneurial training. Participants will acquire practical and transversal competences that will make them more autonomous, resilient, and capable of contributing actively to the well-being of their communities, thereby reinforcing the role of youth work as a tool for social transformation.
