The project aims to empower young people to become informed, responsible, and active citizens while strengthening the capacity of partner organizations to deliver youth education on sustainability. With non-formal education, peer learning, and hands-on creative activities, participants will develop knowledge, practical skills, and advocacy abilities, which they will share with peers, communities, and wider networks, creating an effect beyond the 30 direct participants. OB1 - Awareness of Fast Fashion Impacts (SDG 12 & 13) By the end of the exchange, all 30 participants from 5 countries: Italy, Romania, Poland, Portugal and Netherlands will understand at least 3 major environmental and social consequences of fast fashion, such as carbon emissions, water waste, microplastic pollution, and unfair labor. Using activities like Human Bingo, Fashion Footprints, and the Price Tag Game, participants will explore these issues practically, while debates and reflection sessions consolidate understanding. Knowledge will be measured through pre- and post-mobility survey and group discussions, ensuring participants can confidently share insights with at least 300 peers, community members, and local stakeholders. OB2 - Practical Skills and Community Engagement (SDG 12 & 13) Participants will develop skills in upcycling, sustainable design, and advocacy by creating a sustainable fashion toolkit, taking part in workshops, and producing a project video. Follow-up activities will include at least 6 local events such as school workshops and awareness campaigns, complemented by 10 online posts, reaching a minimum of 300 people across partner countries. The outputs, stored in a shared drive accessible to all participants and partner organizations, will allow replication and long-term engagement in sustainability initiatives. OB3 - SDG Learning and Inclusion (SDG 12, 13, 17; SDG 5 & 10 indirectly) Participants will explore how SDGs 12, 13, and 17 connect to sustainable fashion while practicing inclusion and equity, reflecting SDG 5 and SDG 10 principles. The collaborative debates, workshops, sustainable fashion kits, and video production will strengthen at least 2 new international NGO networks. Participants with fewer opportunities will take active roles with the help of the other participants or group leaders in creating outputs and sharing perspectives, ensuring that at least 100 people are reached during mobility and 300 more through post-project dissemination. OB4 - Organizational Capacity and Long-Term Multiplication (SDG 17) Partner organizations will enhance their capacity to deliver youth education on sustainability by producing at least 1 new workshop, toolkit, or resource and establishing 2 new partnerships with schools, eco-groups, or local authorities. The practical experience from running workshops, debates, and collaborative sessions will allow organizations to integrate sustainability more deeply into long-term programs, replicate activities, and multiply project impact. The project ensures that participants and organizations will gain knowledge and become active multipliers of sustainability. Hands-on workshops, creative activities, digital outputs, and follow-up events will allow participants to share what they’ve learned and inspire their peers, local communities, regional networks, and audiences across Europe. Reflection sessions, follow-up questionnaires, and ongoing feedback will track real changes in knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors, ensuring a lasting impact. Participants will carry these lessons forward, making ethical fashion choices, taking responsibility for the environment, and creating inclusive spaces wherever they go, extending the spirit of the project far beyond the exchange.
