Objectives

The aim of this project is to help 42 young participants from Italy, Turkey, North Macedonia, Poland, Spain, Estonia and Romania to learn to develop 1. Digital Wellbeing and Resilience, 2. Safety and Awareness Online, and 3. Meaningful Digital Connections, topics that would constitute our learning areas. For that purpose, the project will give practical tools for dealing with these through practical ways and non-formal methods. Having said that, the program expects to achieve the following objectives, which are closely related to the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme under Key Action 1 Youth Exchanges: - By the end of the mobility, at least 80% of participants will report a 25% increase in their ability to recognize and apply personal strategies for balancing online and offline life (e.g., managing screen time, coping with digital stress, practicing mindful disconnection), as measured through pre- and post-project self-assessment surveys. - By the end of the mobility, at least 75% of participants will demonstrate a 20% improvement in their confidence to identify misinformation, understand how algorithms and AI shape content, and apply safe online practices (privacy, data protection), as measured through pre- and post-project self-assessment surveys. - By the end of the project, at least 75% of participants will show a 20% increase in their perceived ability to build authentic digital relationships (e.g., using empathy, emotional intelligence, and creative expression), as measured through pre- and post-project self-assessment surveys. Apart from these objectives, that are closely related to the learning areas aforementioned, the project includes a variety of activities like role plays, games, open talks, etc., that also relate to necessary morals. These include problem-solving, initiative-taking, critical thinking, cultural appreciation and collaborative work. Sustainable habits will also be encouraged during the implementation phase. Therefore, the program not only wants to make an impact with the established objectives, but also to contribute to enhancing the lives of our participants better through priceless values. To evaluate the project’s impact, the project will use tools like the Post-then-Pre survey to measure the people’s evolution. Participants will come from different backgrounds and at least half of the national teams will involve people with fewer opportunities. The young group will work together in Online Hubs led by Group Leaders to discuss and reflect daily. Facilitators Natalia and Merche will guide the activities and answer questions. The project will be managed and coordinated by Elena and David, respectively. After the project, participants will share what they learned with their local communities. They will run during the follow up phase, workshops in their areas, post about their experience online, or join other youth events. They will keep in touch with team members and they will get mentored by both the team and the group leaders. This will extend their learning, that will last beyond the Youth Exchange.
