With this project we want to create safe and stimulating spaces for young people, where they can express themselves through theatre, music and dance, develop transversal competences and build meaningful intercultural relationships. The aim is to respond to concrete needs of young people, especially those living in rural or disadvantaged areas, where cultural and educational opportunities are limited. The main objectives of the project are: to promote social inclusion by ensuring the participation of young people with fewer opportunities; to strengthen participants’ self-confidence, self-esteem and personal and social competences; to foster active citizenship and a sense of European belonging through intercultural experiences; to encourage the exchange of innovative methodologies among the partner youth organisations; to create a long-lasting cooperation network to generate new opportunities for learning and mobility. From the perspective of youth work practice, the project is a concrete example of non-formal education, where performing arts become a universal language to overcome cultural barriers, stimulate creativity and promote young people’s active participation.
