Objectives

The main objective of the project “Rural Beats: Organizing Youth Events” is to strengthen youth participation by providing practical and transversal skills useful for organizing cultural events in local communities, with a particular focus on rural areas and young people with fewer opportunities. From the perspective of youth work, the project aims to: Inclusion and active participation Engage young people from rural areas and with fewer opportunities, offering them safe and inclusive spaces to express themselves and become active actors in their communities. Development of practical skills Provide concrete tools for event organization (budget management, logistics, digital communication, promotion), fostering initiative and youth entrepreneurship. Transversal and intercultural competences Promote teamwork, leadership, problem-solving and intercultural communication through non-formal methods, in line with Erasmus+ learning objectives and the Youthpass framework. Sustainability and innovation Raise awareness among young people about the importance of integrating eco-friendly practices and digital solutions in the management of cultural events, in line with the EU’s green and digital transition. Community impact Strengthen the link between young people and local communities, showing how festivals and cultural events can be powerful tools for social cohesion and local development. The culmination will be the Utopia 2026 festival, designed by the participants during the exchange and implemented in August as both a moment of dissemination and a concrete application of the competences acquired.
