The project aims to raise awareness among young people about urgent environmental issues, such as waste management, climate change, and sustainability. We want to provide them with practical tools to become active agents in promoting ecological behaviors and protecting their territory. Additionally, we aim to stimulate their active citizenship, encouraging them to participate in local initiatives and share the knowledge they have gained with their communities. Needs of young people we aim to address: Lack of practical knowledge: Many young people lack the necessary skills to address daily environmental issues, such as waste sorting or waste reduction. Distance from political decisions: Young people often feel excluded from decisions related to the environment and sustainability in their communities. Lack of tools for environmental activism: The lack of information and practical resources limits young people’s ability to influence local ecological policies and practices. Low motivation and transversal skills: Many young people are unaware of the importance of their daily actions and have not developed the necessary skills to adopt sustainable behaviors. Objectives: Increase environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility towards the territory. Develop practical skills in environmental education (waste management, plastic reduction, energy consumption). Stimulate reflection on climate change and individual choices. Promote local sustainability through practical activities and community involvement. Strengthen intercultural skills and social inclusion. Enhance linguistic and transversal skills (teamwork, leadership). Increase self-esteem and independence, fostering active participation in change.
