Objectives

“Crafting Next Horizons: A Partnership Building for youth workers working with sustainability and inclusion” grows from years of experience within MOH’s European network. Over time, we have repeatedly seen that well-known and trusted partners bring quality and reliability to Erasmus+ projects: they plan carefully, apply non-formal education methods with competence, and deliver strong follow-up. Yet, opportunities to meet and weave these relationships remain scarce, especially for younger organisations and emerging youth workers. Many newcomers express frustration and uncertainty: they are eager to participate in European youth work but often lack proven methodologies, guidance on quality standards, and spaces to learn directly from experienced peers. As a result, their potential to create impactful projects is underused. At the same time, experienced organisations need fresh ideas and motivated collaborators to keep their networks vibrant and to multiply their impact. Our project answers these gaps by bringing established and emerging actors together, creating a structured space where trust can grow and quality youth work can be transmitted and renewed. The specific objectives of the project are: 1.Strengthen and expand MOH’s European network by engaging both long-standing and new organisations, ensuring a balanced, diverse consortium ready to co-create impactful Erasmus+ initiatives. 2.Facilitate peer learning and mentorship so that experienced youth workers can guide newcomers in quality standards, non-formal education methods, and project design. 3.Improve the quality of sustainability-related youth work by testing and sharing innovative, practice-based educational tools that merge environmental action with social inclusion. 4.Generate concrete follow-up initiatives, including at least two KA210 and three KA1 Erasmus+ projects, embedding the outcomes in future collaborations. 5.Promote behavioural change and civic engagement by equipping participants with competences to mobilise young people around climate action, innovation of youth work, and inclusive community building.
