Objectives

`Equipping Youth Workers with Necessary Competences` is a Training Course that aims to equip, throughout the 10 months of the project, newly recruited youth workers or youth workers that are new to the field of non-formal education with the core skills and knowledge they need to design and deliver successful non-formal education activities. In writing this project, we focused on the common needs of the partner organisation (Global Circle - Italy; Asociacion Sociocultural Almar - Spain; HASTE - Albania; Dynamic Youth Association - Hungary; Active Be Cicleta - Romania): -Ganing practical experience for new youth workers -Knowledge of effective non-formal approaches to plan and deliver sessions. -Skills to design, organize, and lead activities tailored to young people’s needs. -Ability to handle group dynamics, difficult situations or challenges with youth. -Opportunities to try methods, learn by doing, and exchange experiences without pressure. -Access to a wider range of tested non-formal activities and approaches. -Guidance on adapting activities to support youth facing social, economic, or personal challenges. Objective 1: Over the course of this 10-month project, 25 youth workers will gain a solid understanding of the basics of non-formal education, including the principles behind it, how to plan and deliver engaging sessions and how to adapt their activities to meet the specific needs of disadvantaged youth. Objective 2: Throughout the project, 25 participants will gain practical skills in session design, group facilitation and public speaking. They will be trained in managing groups, handling challenges that may arise during activities. Objective 3: By the end of the 10 months, youth workers will feel more confident in their ability to lead and facilitate non-formal educational sessions.
