VOICE is a Training Course in the field of Youth that through 6 days of activities organised with NFE methods will enrich youth workers personally and professionally with competences related to digitalisation and creativity, in order to innovate and produce high quality youth work that is reflected in a subsequent greater empowerment of young people they work with on a daily basis. Furthermore, the mobility implies the meeting and exchange of good practices and experiences, values and ideas between Youth Workers from different countries. The strength of the EU is also given by the diversity of languages, cultures and traditions, which will emerge in this project, contributing to the development of a broader European identity. Youth Workers will work practically and together also on the creation of the VOICE manual: this process of creation and collaboration serves exactly the purpose of manifesting the capacity of intercultural cooperation. VOICE is meant to equip youth workers with competences and methodologies used mostly in the podcast creation which can be applied in NFE to implement youth activities, produce the VOICE Manual to spread the results with other youth workers and organisations and create an international community of youth workers who will support each other by exchanging experiences, results and good practices. Project’s objectives: -raise the capacity of organisations working with young people outside formal learning, during 6 activity days based on NFE, in an intercultural background, referring also to the Competence Model for Youth Workers to Work Internationally -create a safe learning environment where youth workers from 8 different countries will develop key competences and skills on podcast creation, storytelling, youth work and NFE producing the VOICE manual to spread the results with other youth workers and organisations -promote non-formal learning activities in partners’ organisations, to improve the level of competences while ensuring the active participation of young people in society -support development and innovation of youth work at local level in every partner’s Country and at EU level, improving its quality and recognition and ability to meet the actual youngsters’ needs -contribute to the implementation of the EU Youth Strategy (2019-2027) including the 11 Youth goals -foster cooperation across different Countries of EU and enhance EU identity and values through joint youth initiatives. To achieve the objectives, we designed it with a specific idea: to train youth workers in the art of podcast creation, in order to empower youth in their local context with a voice to increase active participation and citizenship.
