Objectives

The "LEAD RIGHT!: Orientation to Leadership 2.0" project aims to train a group of international youth workers capable of guiding young people to become active in their communities. The idea is to help young people develop as inclusive leaders, capable of defending the rights of adolescents, combating discrimination, and promoting inclusion and active citizenship in Europe. The "LEAD RIGHT!: Orientation to Leadership 2.0" project aims to achieve the following objectives: -Train 18 international youth workers with in-depth knowledge of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN-CRC), particularly the right to non-discrimination (Article 2). Through an intensive 7-day course, based on non-formal educational methodologies, the youth workers will also acquire inclusive leadership skills, enabling them to guide young people on paths of empowerment and active participation. -Involve at least 10 young people from each local community (for a total of 60 young people in the 6 partner countries) in national workshops. The activities will be aimed primarily at young people with fewer opportunities and will aim to train them as agents of change, capable of developing peer-to-peer leadership and promoting rights, inclusion, and democratic participation in their communities. -Raise awareness among schools, institutions, and municipalities at the national and international levels through the "Youth Rights Toolkit," developed by youth workers during the project. This practical tool will support stakeholders in spreading a culture of rights and developing inclusive young leaders capable of engaging with their peers and generating a multiplier effect. -Foster the exchange of good practices among the six partner organizations, strengthening international cooperation and developing new joint activities dedicated to youth leadership, rights promotion, and active citizenship.
