Objectives

With the project HEAL (Harmony, Empowerment, Adaptability, Link), we aim to strengthen the quality and innovation of youth work, providing youth workers with competences, tools and methodologies to address the complex needs of young people with fewer opportunities. The main objectives are: - To enhance youth workers’ psycho-educational competences, providing tools to recognize and address signs of distress (stress, anxiety, burnout) and to promote mental health and well-being. - To strengthen the use of inclusive and innovative non-formal education methodologies (transformative learning, experiential workshops, intercultural and holistic approaches) to work effectively with heterogeneous and multicultural groups. - To develop transversal competences (life & soft skills) that are essential in youth work: collaborative leadership, creative problem solving, stress and conflict management, intercultural communication. - To foster resilience and adaptability among youth workers and the young people they support, helping them face changes, challenges and obstacles with a positive mindset. - To promote the creation of inclusive and intercultural communities, reinforcing empathy, cooperation, active participation and the valorisation of diversity. - To create a multiplier effect, training youth workers who can transfer the acquired competences to their local contexts, thus increasing the quality and impact of their organisations’ activities. In the long term, HEAL seeks to consolidate the recognition of youth work as a key field for well-being, inclusion and youth participation in Europe, contributing to more resilient, cohesive and sustainable communities.
