The Future Shapers project aims to bring about profound and lasting change on multiple levels. Locally, we want to strengthen active youth groups and inclusive “third places” that serve as hubs for civic participation and actors for structured dialogue with institutions. At the social level, we intend to enhance young people's personal media literacy, civic and digital skills, combating misinformation and promoting inclusive empowerment. Nationally, we want to combat youth depopulation in small communities and isolated areas such as Calabria by promoting young people as drivers of civic and social development. At the European level, we intend to train ambassadors of European values, strengthening transnational networks thanks to more competent young people who are able to collaborate and contribute to the creation of more resilient and inclusive communities.
