Across Europe, young migrants and youth with fewer opportunities face exclusion, prejudice and stereotypes that limit their sense of belonging and weaken social cohesion. Local communities often experience parallel lives, with little meaningful contact between migrant and local groups. At the same time, youth organisations lack effective tools to address sensitive issues of identity, discrimination and inclusion. Beyond Labels responds to these needs by creating safe spaces where young people can deconstruct stereotypes, share experiences and build empathy. Through intercultural dialogue combined with creative and digital tools (storytelling, reels, photography, body painting), participants will transform personal stories into collective action and inclusive narratives. The project aims to promote social inclusion, empower young people as actors of cohesion, and strengthen the capacity of organisations in Spain, Italy and Slovakia to implement inclusive, innovative youth work.
