The project aims to strengthen youth participation by creating a European network of youth councils and forums, so that young people can come out of isolation and feel part of a wider movement. The objectives are to offer spaces for peer exchange beyond local borders, allowing young people to learn from similar experiences in Italy and Europe, share good practices, and build concrete tools. During the project, the participants will lay the foundations for building the European network and will create two main outputs: an interactive map of existing youth councils and a booklet of good practices written by young people for other young people. The international mobilities will be real networking laboratories, in which to experiment with non-formal education methods, engage with local institutions, and create bonds meant to last over time. In this way, the young people will become more active and aware citizens, able to influence democratic processes at the local and European levels.
