With the project "Expressination – Express with fascination, fascinate by expression!" we aim to offer young people from various European regions a creative and safe space in which they can explore social, emotional, and personal issues and make them visible through artistic expression. The focus is not on artistic perfection, but on sustainable learning experiences, social participation, and the development of individual and collective skills in the spirit of non-formal education. • Promotion of social skills such as teamwork, tolerance, empathy, and constructive conflict resolution • Strengthening self-confidence and self-efficacy through creative methods, group processes, and public presentations • Development of intercultural sensitivity through direct exchange with peers from other countries and cultural contexts • Promotion of active participation: Young people play a key role in the conception and implementation of the project and assume responsibility • Development of creative and artistic potential (e.g., dance, theater, storytelling, media work) to explore topics such as identity, emotions, diversity, or future perspectives • Expansion of linguistic and communication skills – also through non-verbal forms of expression • Strengthening awareness of European values, democracy, and solidarity as the foundation for a united Europe From a youth work perspective, the project aims to provide young people with spaces of experience in which they can express themselves, reflect, and grow through non-formal learning methods. They are taken seriously in their role as active contributors and are given the opportunity to make their voices visible and audible in society.
