Objectives

We are foreseeing 2 activities - the Preparatory Visit and the Youth Exchange. The Preparatory Visit a weekend long encounter with our partner orgs' representatives (preferably group leaders) before the mobility. Expected outcomes are: established stronger collaboration with clear resources; clear roles and revisited agreements; sharpened direct communication, which would be sustainable for all the parties and participants involved; one more time revised mobility program and readjusted if needed; demonstrating the venue of the mobility and getting some organizational advices regarding it from more experienced partners. This mobility will provide 30 youth representatives (including the group leaders and people with fewer possibilities) with the opportunity to engage in a transformative and meaningful learning experience designed to strengthen their personal and collective resilience. The format is inspired by the concept of a CAMINO, where participants will walk approximately 100 kilometers over five days, immersing themselves in an environment that naturally fosters reflection, connection, and growth. The journey itself becomes both a metaphor and a method: step by step, the young participants will learn, share, exchange, and (re)connect—with themselves, with their peers, and with the natural world around them. The learning process will be enriched through a combination of while-walking activities and stopover-based activities. While walking, participants will engage in reflections (individually, in pairs, or in small groups), participate in simulations, carry out investigations, and practice other experiential methods that stimulate both personal insight and collaborative learning. At each stop, more structured group and project-based activities will take place, allowing the participants to deepen their discussions, co-create ideas, and translate their experiences into collective actions. The objectives of the Youth Exchange (YE) are: -To strengthen youth-led planetary citizenship and cooperation by engaging participants in meaningful collective actions and hands-on experiences, encouraging them to take active responsibility for their communities and the planet. -To promote the use of outdoor-based participation models, such as the Camino, that empower young people to explore alternative, experiential forms of learning and civic engagement. -To foster deeper (re)connection with nature through camping, ecotherapy, nature walks, and biodiversity discovery, enabling participants to rediscover the restorative and transformative power of the natural environment. -To positively impact young people’s mental and physical health by creating routines of direct contact with nature, which support resilience, well-being, adaptability, and a sense of balance. In essence, this project offers much more than a physical journey: it is a holistic experience of resilience-building that integrates physical activity, reflective practice, intercultural exchange, and ecological awareness. By combining movement, dialogue, and nature-based learning, participants will leave the exchange not only with strengthened personal capacities but also with a stronger commitment to act as active, responsible, and resilient citizens within their local and global communities.
