Project goals: (1) increase youth civic engagement and financial literacy by providing practical, sustainable opportunities to participate in democratic decision-making in schools through participatory budgeting (PB) initiatives; (2) strengthen school communities by encouraging cooperation among students, teachers, and administrations, and greater student involvement in school life; (3) develop students’ public speaking, critical thinking, teamwork, and project management skills; (4) engage local and national decision-makers to ensure the continuity and sustainable integration of PB initiatives into education; (5) build a national community of youth, professionals working with them, and decision-makers to share good practices, foster partnerships, and strengthen participatory democracy in Lithuania.
