"Every Step Tolerance" (EVEREST) Erasmus+ youth project aims to promote inclusion, diversity, and tolerance by using different dance methods as a tool for intercultural exchange and awareness-raising. Inspired by EU values and strategies, we aim to break stereotypes, address discrimination, and encourage mutual respect through the art of dance. Through collaboration with partner organizations and young people from diverse backgrounds, we will exchange knowledge of traditional dances, including Afro-dance styles, Zeynek, Hopak, Flamenco, Tarantella etc, to create a unique, blended choreography. This choreography will be used to promote messages of inclusion and cultural awareness in our communities. The project targets 42 participants, including leaders enhancing their intercultural skills, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities while creating pathway to make an impact to address racism and discrimination. It aligns with Erasmus+ objectives by fostering personal growth, cultural diversity, and international cooperation. Furthermore, it contributes to the EU Youth Strategy by empowering young people, including disadvantaged groups, to actively participate in building an inclusive society. Through this project, we celebrate cultural heritage while addressing societal challenges, creating a platform for lasting collaboration and social impact.
