This project is designed to increase young people’s understanding of employment issues and the importance of career planning. Its aim is to provide knowledge on how to improve competitiveness in the labor market, develop practical skills, and strengthen confidence in their ability to enter professional life. Unemployment and unstable working conditions are significant challenges faced by young people across Europe, affecting their daily lives, economic independence, and social integration. The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth” and the European Youth Goal 7 “Quality Employment for All” emphasize the need to ensure equal opportunities for young people in the labor market, reduce discrimination, and promote the development of professional skills. Statistics show that youth unemployment rates often exceed those of adults, highlighting the urgency of this issue. The project will emphasize the importance of practical and soft skills in professional development. Young people will be introduced to CV and cover letter preparation, helpful techniques for job interviews, time and stress management, as well as career development opportunities. The project will also provide the opportunity to practice stress management and self-reflection skills as supportive tools for successful integration into the labor market. Project objectives: Increase young people’s understanding of labor market requirements and opportunities; Introduce young people to practical tools for CV and cover letter preparation; Encourage young people to critically assess their interests, knowledge, and skills, linking them to future career choices; Develop young people’s self-presentation and communication skills in job interview and professional contexts; Exchange experiences and good practices in career planning across different countries; Promote the Erasmus+ programme. During the project, a digital material will be developed – a practical guide for young people, summarizing the knowledge and experience gained throughout the activities. This project will provide young people with practical knowledge and skills to better navigate the labor market, prepare for employment challenges, and strengthen their career management competences. Through workshops, interactive activities, and group work, participants will develop critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills, as well as learn to reflect on their professional development. Throughout the project, organizations and partners will apply an inclusive approach and non-formal learning methods to ensure young people’s active participation and experiential learning. Activities will include discussions, role plays, simulations, group tasks, and feedback sessions. The project will be accessible to diverse groups of young people, including those with fewer opportunities, thereby fostering equal opportunities and inclusion.
