The aim of the project “Unlock your path” is to support young people in their future career choices, promoting their confidence and ability to make decisions, creating a safe intercultural environment for the exchange of experiences and ideas. The relevance of the topic has been determined by the young people themselves, communicating with each other, filling out surveys on the current problems and needs of young people, as well as reflecting in various informal activities. This reflects the basic principle of youth work – activities are based on the interests and needs of young people themselves. The activities of the project program “Unlock your path” have been developed taking into account the approach of youth work practice – non-formal education, peer learning, exchange of experience and active participation of young people. The aim of the activities is to: -give young people a broader understanding of career and learning opportunities, using interactive methods and meetings with various professionals; - encourage young people to make decisions with confidence, without fear of making mistakes, using non-formal education approaches and reflection methods; - develop young people's ability to critically evaluate different paths and justify their choices, using discussions, simulations and role-playing games; - create a safe environment in which young people share experiences and ideas, learning from each other in an intercultural environment; - promote young people's ability to defend their opinions with arguments, cooperate in case of disagreements or conflicts, as well as act in situations of uncertainty; - understand and identify career options, using intercultural learning experiences. Such an approach ensures that young people are actively involved in the learning process, strengthening their social skills, critical thinking and self-confidence, which are essential for their future career and personal growth.
