The project “From Tension to Flow” focuses on the professional development of youth workers so that they can work more effectively with young people in challenging situations, create an inclusive environment, and use conflicts as opportunities for growth. The project will help to change the mindset about conflict, strengthen emotional intelligence, and provide practical body-based tools that bring more awareness, creativity, and cooperation into youth work. The specific objectives of the project are: 1) Turn conflict into an opportunity: change participants’ mindset to perceive conflicts as a chance to learn and foster cooperation rather than as an obstacle. 2) Support professional development and provide practical tools: equip participants with easily applicable methods such as active listening, body awareness, and breathing practices. 3) Foster emotional intelligence: teach youth workers to recognize and effectively manage their emotional reactions, especially in difficult situations, and to model emotional regulation skills for young people. 4) Promote acceptance and inclusion: help youth workers feel more confident in their ability to handle complex situations and support young people in diverse life contexts, creating a safe, open, and supportive environment. 5) Strengthen international cooperation and peer learning: create a space where youth workers can learn from each other and return to their organizations with new solutions and ideas.
