With the implementation of this project, we aim not only to make our organisation’s projects more inclusive, but also to create an internationally co-designed approach to a problem that is increasingly relevant today. We seek to find a balance between result-oriented activities and wellbeing throughout the process, guided by the principles of design thinking and human-centred design. The objectives of the project Make Care are to: - Draw attention to the growing need for tailored programmes in the field of non-formal education, fostering participants’ integration, wellbeing, learning capacity, and sustainable engagement in the sector. - Practice, assess, and adapt concrete wellbeing-supporting methods during Erasmus+ activities. - Redesign existing structures of youth exchanges and training courses in order to reduce the risk of burnout, foster inclusive participation, and maximise outcomes for both youth workers and young people. - Develop a practice-based guide that helps make non-formal education more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable. These objectives are directly aimed not only at youth workers but also at young people themselves. Practicing a balanced programme in a facilitated environment serves as a powerful catalyst for transferring good practices into daily life, which is increasingly saturated with external stimuli and, as a result, diminishing the overall wellbeing of society.
