Media Lab Borderlines empowers young people in Latvia to strengthen media literacy, civic engagement, and democratic resilience. Through four regional youth labs (Daugavpils, Cēsis, Jelgava, Liepāja) and a two-day national forum in Rēzekne, 300+ young participants (40% with fewer opportunities) will co-create innovative tools such as gamified workshops, AI fact-checking, and VR storytelling. A Youth Media Literacy Declaration will be presented not only at the forum but also in follow-up meetings with municipalities, Parliament, and the Ministry of Education and Culture. Results will include digital outputs, podcasts, videos, and an open-source handbook for educators. Dissemination will reach 10,000+ young people online, engage 500+ youth workers and teachers, and secure features in 5+ national/regional media outlets. As part of SALTO networks, Erasmus+ and New European Bauhaus communities, the project will share practices across the Baltic region and Europe, ensuring sustainable impact
