Continuing the 2024 project “Youth – City Designers”, we aim to implement activities to improve the area around Ogre State Gymnasium. Our goal is to promote active youth participation and, through discussions with decision-makers, ensure that authorities hear our voice and, based on our initiative, decide to relocate the military facility currently next to the school. This would allow the creation of an attractive, safe, and useful space for everyone to spend free time. Through the project, we aim to raise young people’s awareness, enhance their knowledge of how to engage in shaping their environment, encourage participation in decisions on important local issues, and strengthen the understanding that everyone can actively influence the surroundings in which they live.
