Objectives

The initiative “Smart Skills for Smart Career” is designed to empower young people from disadvantaged backgrounds—including rural residents, Roma youth and migrants—by equipping them with practical digital and employability skills. Through the use of artificial intelligence and online platforms, the project aims to break down barriers such as limited access to education, geographic isolation, and social exclusion. This youth exchange is aligned with Erasmus+ priorities on inclusion, digital transformation, and employability. It aims to: • Equip 30 young participants from six countries with hands-on experience in AI-powered job searching, online CV creation, and digital self-promotion during an 8-day structured exchange. • Foster intercultural collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking, helping participants understand European employment ecosystems and build supportive peer networks. • Strengthen the capacity of six partner organisations to use AI tools in promoting youth employment and inclusion, both during and beyond the project. The project responds to the growing need for accessible, practical knowledge on how to: • Use AI and digital platforms to search for jobs, prepare applications, and build a professional online presence. • Understand the basics of entrepreneurship and how AI can support the development of online businesses. • Navigate digital tools that help young people overcome employment-related challenges in underserved communities. A unique feature of the project is the co-creation of a digital mentoring space in collaboration with an AI experts and experts in the IT technology. This space will serve as a support hub where young people can seek guidance on employment and entrepreneurship, using AI-based solutions tailored to their needs.
