By implementing the C.R.E.A.T.E. – Creative Resilience, Empowerment, and Artistic Transformation for Everyone project, we aim to support youth work by using creativity and artistic expression as tools for inclusion, empowerment, and emotional well-being. Our main goal is to create a safe and inspiring space where young people from different cultural, social, and geographical backgrounds can explore their identity, express themselves, and build connections across borders. Our key objectives from the perspective of youth work are: 1. To strengthen the role of creativity in youth work by providing non-formal learning experiences that use arts, storytelling, music, and visual expression to promote resilience and self-confidence among young people. 2. To empower young people with fewer opportunities by involving them actively in all phases of the project and giving them tools to express their voices, share their experiences, and take pride in their identity and cultural background. 3. To develop key youth work competences such as teamwork, intercultural communication, empathy, active participation, and initiative—through participatory workshops, group reflection, and real-life collaboration with peers from different countries. 4. To raise awareness about social challenges and inclusion by exploring topics like cultural identity, mental health, discrimination, and diversity through creative formats that are accessible and engaging for youth. 5. To promote international youth mobility and solidarity by encouraging young people to take part in Erasmus+ and other European opportunities, showing that learning can happen in informal, artistic, and collaborative ways. 6. To support youth workers and leaders in gaining new methods for using art and creativity in their daily work with young people, especially those facing exclusion or low motivation. This project is about giving space, visibility, and tools to young people to express who they are—and to remind them that their stories and voices matter. Through youth work, we want to support their growth not just as individuals but as active, connected members of a more inclusive Europe.
