The HEART project, which stands for Health, Empowerment and Rural Transformation, aims to empower young people, particularly those from rural and poor areas, by promoting health, well-being, and active participation in their communities. Its objectives are to improve young people's communication, leadership, and digital skills; raise awareness of the European Youth Goals (EYGs) on mental health and participation; and ensure long-term dialogue between young people, decision-makers, and local communities. HEART will directly reach 200 people and indirectly reach approximately 2,000 through an international mobility event in Malta and four national events. It will encourage these young people to become ambassadors of inclusion, well-being, and democratic engagement at both the local and European levels.
