DemoNext is a youth-driven initiative that reimagines democratic participation as more inclusive, accessible, and representative for all young people, especially those who are often excluded from civic life. Grounded in the EU Youth Strategy principles of Engage, Connect, and Empower, and aligned with Youth Goals #3, #4, #9 and #11, the project addresses the barriers that limit youth involvement and creates safe spaces where young people can develop skills, engage in dialogue with decision-makers, and co-design solutions for more democratic societies. Through dynamic activities such as idea fairs, dialogue sessions, simulations, and democracy labs, participants will strengthen their civic competences, gain the confidence to advocate and collaborate, and experience European cooperation in action. In doing so, DemoNext amplifies youth voices and contributes to embedding long-term participatory practices at local, national, and European levels.
