The main objective of the project is to enchance youth from Akershus and Poltava's understanding of democratic values and how they can participate. How can youth uphold democratic values when Europe is marked by war and conflict, and how can they participate in decision-making and ensure that their voices are heard. During the meeting on september 5th, the norwegian youth told us that they want to learn more about what happens to youth participation when there is a war going on in the country, while the ukrainian youth are interessted in learning more about norwegian youth participation, hoping to apply this knowledge when rebuilding their own participation after the war. Thorugh various activities, we want the participants to reflect on these issues and strengthen their knowledge about these themes. In addition, the youth will gain insight into each other's cultures and everyday lives, and learn what it is to be young in the different countries and regions. In this way, one of the goals is to build relationships across borders and cultures, which we hope they can benefit from after the prosject ends.
