Our aim for this project is to give our organizations a broader experience with direct youth involvement, leading us to understand and use more of their perspective through involvement also in our daily work. From the start and throughout the project, the aim for Fellesverket has been to have the voices of the young participants be heard and included. The organizations have both agreed early on that the youth will form much of this project, and we will learn along the way of their needs and wishes. The young participants have met virtually and discussed different topics and activities for the project. After these discussions we wanted to make sure everyone where able to express what topic they wanted for the project, and we landed on an anonymous forms where the group leaders gave four alternatives taken from the discussion-meeting. Out of the alternatives the most wanted topic was racism and social exclusion, so that is what we landed on. We are pleased that they chose a topic for the project that is in the field of our organizations work, so we can both contribute to the learning process, and learn more through the activities during the mobilities. We believe that during this project and mobility, having youth workers be side by side with young participants from our daily work, will give a better understanding for youth involvement and learning what youth consider important and not. Our youth workers will gain more engagement for our organizations and the youngsters in our field with such a hands-on project with youth. We wish to strengthen the voices of the youth using our centers. A big part of our activities is youth participation and this project will give youth not only the opportunity to experience a different country and culture, but will give them a voice in discussing important topics which will affect the activities we have. The topic of social exclusion and racism is very relevant among youth today, and we hope this project will give them knowledge and tools they can utilize to influence others to speak up. Our key objectives are centered around empowering young people through meaningful experiences and inclusive practices. These include: -Fostering personal development and encouraging self-reflection -Promoting diversity, inclusion, and intercultural understanding -Enhancing mental and emotional well-being by offering safe and supportive environments for emotional exploration -Raising awareness of opportunities and mobility programs available within the European Union
