With this project, we want to achieve real change for young people in our communities and also contribute to the development of youth work in Europe. As young participants, we see every day that many of our peers are excluded, judged, or not given the same chances. Youth work should be the answer to these challenges, creating spaces where young people can feel safe, respected, and able to grow. By implementing this project, we aim to show how art, culture, and creativity can become practical tools for youth workers and young people to build more inclusive societies. * From the perspective of youth work practice, our objectives are: - To promote inclusion of marginalised young people. Many youth workers and organisations face difficulties reaching out to young people with fewer opportunities. With this project, we will create methods and examples of how art and culture can be used to give marginalised youth equal chances to participate. For instance, theatre workshops and storytelling activities during the youth exchange will show how creative methods can help young people express their feelings and be heard. - To use arts and creativity as tools for self-expression and dialogue. In youth work practice, there is often a need for non-formal, engaging tools that allow young people to communicate beyond language barriers. Artistic workshops, cultural activities, and creative group projects will demonstrate how arts can encourage participation, reduce discrimination, and connect people from different backgrounds. - To explore and value cultural heritage as a source of inclusion. Youth workers often struggle to connect cultural heritage with the interests of young people. By linking heritage to personal stories and creative expression, we will show how traditions and history can become a tool for building respect, intercultural learning, and dialogue. Our project will provide examples of practical workshops that youth workers can adapt in their own local contexts. - To integrate green practices and sustainability in youth work. Youth work must also respond to the environmental concerns of young people. Through our project we will show how everyday practices—like choosing eco-friendly travel, reducing waste, or sourcing food locally—can be built into youth activities. By including a session on CO₂ footprint and sustainable practices, we will provide youth workers with tested methods to address environmental awareness. - To make use of digital tools in youth work. Digitalisation is an important Erasmus+ priority, but many organisations and young people lack practical tools to integrate it into youth work. In our project, we will use simple digital tools like Kahoot, Canva, Google Drive, Notion, and others to support communication, make workshops interactive, and prepare the final online guide. By documenting this process, we will provide practical examples of how digital tools can strengthen non-formal learning. - To promote Erasmus+ and attract new participants. A common challenge in youth work is that many young people still do not know about Erasmus+ or do not see it as something for them. One of our main objectives is to promote Erasmus+ in an accessible and youth-friendly way. We will invent creative dissemination methods, such as participant-led social media campaigns, local presentations, and an online guide. This will inspire more young people, especially newcomers, to take part in future projects. * Expected achievements in youth work practice: - We will provide a tested daily programme full of non-formal education methods that youth workers can adapt. - We will produce a free online guide, created by participants, containing methods, creative outputs, digital tools, and eco-friendly practices. - We will show how to integrate reflection and Youthpass into daily activities, helping young people to become aware of their competences. - We will strengthen the capacity of our partner organisations, especially less experienced ones, by sharing responsibilities equally and giving them new tools and practices. - We will involve young people in all stages of the project - from planning to dissemination - showing youth workers the value of youth-led approaches. Through this project, we want to achieve more inclusive, creative, and sustainable youth work. Our objectives are not only about the personal growth of participants but also about providing practical tools and inspiration for youth workers and organisations across Europe. By focusing on inclusion, creativity, cultural heritage, green practices, digital tools, and Erasmus+ promotion, we ensure that the project directly contributes to the development of youth work practice and to the European Youth Goals.
