Objectives

We want to implement this project because in our daily work with young people, we see specific difficulties and challenges that require support. In Poland, young people largely come from small towns and villages that are excluded from communication. Some of them are students with learning difficulties or special needs (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, mild hearing impairment). They lack the self-confidence and experience to open up to other cultures, yet they have a great desire to develop and be creative. We see similar challenges in the work of partner organizations: Austria – the group works with migrant youth and others who often struggle to find their place in new social and educational environments. The project creates a space for them to build bridges and work together to develop a sense of belonging. Romania – the group includes participants from the Roma minority who face stereotypes and discrimination in their daily lives. Through this exchange, they can showcase their culture and contribute their unique perspective to the project. Latvia – Young people often experience economic and social exclusion, and participating in an international project gives them the opportunity to develop their skills and build self-confidence. Spain – Young participants are interested in art and film, but don't always have the opportunities to pursue these passions. The project allows them to use their creative talents for educational and social activities, further strengthening their sense of empowerment. The project was created to address these diverse needs. Its main goal is to create a safe space for young people from different countries and backgrounds to meet, where they can develop their skills, share experiences, and learn through practical activities. From a youth work perspective, the project's goals include: - building openness and tolerance – through discussions, film workshops, and collaborative artistic activities, - strengthening social and communication skills – through working in international teams, implementing joint projects, and presenting their outcomes, - developing creativity and expression – through film, dance, and theater elements that allow young people to share their stories and experiences, - improving digital and media literacy – participants will learn how to record, edit, and promote their activities on social media, - strengthening a sense of empowerment – young people are co-creators of the project from start to finish, not just its recipients. The project combines everyday youth work practices (e.g., addressing the needs of students from Sanok or Roma youth in Romania) with the core principles of the Erasmus+ program: promoting inclusion, diversity, European solidarity, and supporting active citizenship and non-formal learning. Thanks to this, the exchange will not be just a short event, but a process that will have a real impact on the development of participants, their attitudes, way of thinking and readiness for action in the future.
